What stood in the way
BACA needed a website that could win the trust of international procurement teams before the first call. Bulk buyers do not buy on adjectives: they check grades, moisture limits, minimum order quantities, packing formats and certificates, and move on when those are missing.
- 01
Credibility first
A new exporter has to look as established as the houses buyers already use.
- 02
Spec-level detail
Every product needed real trade data: grades, origins, forms, quality limits, minimum order quantities and pricing terms, across 8 very different categories from spices and coffee to fresh fruit and eggs.
- 03
Fast enquiries
Buyers in export markets often prefer WhatsApp to forms, so both had to work in one tap.
- 04
Low running cost
The site had to run on shared hosting, with no Node.js server and no monthly platform fees.
How we solved it
We designed the site the way a procurement manager reads: proof and specs first, sales copy second.
- 01
Content as data
All 15 products live in one typed data file. Product pages, the catalogue, the sitemap and the print documents all read from it, so one edit updates every channel.
- 02
Proof up front
BACA's nine certifications sit on the home page, and a five-step Farm to Port section shows how orders are handled.
- 03
One tap to talk
Every product page carries a Request a Quote button that pre-fills the enquiry form with the product, plus WhatsApp links that open with a ready-written message.
- 04
Static by design
The whole site exports to plain HTML, so it runs on low-cost shared hosting, loads fast and has almost nothing to break or patch.
- 05
Buyer education
Nine insight articles answer the questions first-time importers ask, from reading a lab report to container timelines, which also builds search visibility.

Engineering that holds up
Hardened enquiry handler
Every field is validated, line breaks are stripped to block mail header injection, message length is capped and a hidden honeypot stops bots. Mail credentials never enter the code repository.
Fast on any connection
Photos converted to WebP, build files cached for a year, HTML revalidated on every visit so edits go live at once, and text assets compressed.
Search-ready
Each product page has its own title, description, canonical URL and share image, and an automatic sitemap listed all 29 pages at launch.
Accessible motion
Scroll reveals, a certification marquee and a pinned process section, all switched off for visitors who prefer reduced motion.
Importers want grades, specifications and certificates before they talk about price. Our website now answers those questions for every product, and LoneLupus had it ready in days, with a matching catalogue and flyer for our sales team.
